1. Hymns contain rich expressions of doctrinal truths.
2. Hymns connect me with generations of other Christians from all over the world.
3. Hymns encourage and strengthen my faith.
4. Hymns support and give voice to my prayers.
5. Hymns are generally God-focused and Scripture-saturated, two things I desire in increasing measure in my life.
